This is a very inexpensive IR aka day/night camera. The video is detailed and it works fine on mac/windows, iphones, ipads etc. The color is off at times have a purple or pink hue which isn't a big issue for my use. I am using it as a baby monitor as for the audio I haven't gotten it to work but I suspect this is due to not using activex or IE which I refuse on principle to run period. The nice thing is anyone in the house can monitor the baby with their iphone/laptop etc.

As another review noted the default settings are as follows:

username: admin
password: admin

IP ie web address it uses DCHP which mean it will get an IP address from your router such as linksys or apple timecapsule. I setup mac address reservations so the router always gives the camera the same address. In generally you can find the IP which the camera is using by looking for logs or ip leases or reservation in the router configuration. Alternatively, you look at your own ip address (windows- start - run- cmd - ipconfig) then try addresses above and below yours to find the camera.

All in all it a great little camera for the prices could be better but could cost more. -- Great little web cam with few points to note
