I bought this monitor almost a month ago, and it has changed my life. I researched video monitors for weeks looking for one that was safe and reliable with great picture quality and no feedback, and I hit the jackpot with the Levana BabyView20. I researched it on the web and found that I could watch a demo of the video quality here: [..]. When the monitor arrived, it was very easy to mount to the side of my son's pack n' play, and the video quality is clear enough that I can see my son's chest rise and fall as he's sleeping. As the mother of a child with unique medical needs, this was an extremely important feature. With the night vision, I can feel confident that he is breathing well without having to go into his room and possibly interrupt his sleep. I also love that I can turn music on remotely to calm him when he gets fussy, and the battery on the handheld monitor lasts for longer than his nap, which is anywhere from two to three hours. I also love that the audio only turns on when he makes noise or moves significantly, which is fantastic and really eliminates feedback. The buzzing is so minimal that I can sleep with it only a foot away and not hear it at all. Before getting this monitor, I went in my son's room anytime he made a noise because I wanted to be sure he was okay. This was completely detrimental to training him to sleep through the night, and we spent two years getting up a dozen times a night to check on him. Now we know exactly how he's doing in his room, and he's been sleeping through the night for nearly as long as we've had the monitor. Being able to see him and know that he's okay when he's crying has completely changed my life. -- This monitor changed my life ...

I have enjoyed this product thus far, we have not had a chance to test it out for very long, however the picture quality is great as is the sound quality. There is a slight delay in the sound, less than a second, but it is not a problem for us. I love the crispness in the picture you get, and I love being able to see my baby when he is sleeping, or resting. The one complaint that I have is that there is a slight buzzing noise on the handset when it is turned on, it is not really a problem, but it is a very minor annpyance. I know that some people have reported problems with the battery life and thus far we have not encountered these problems. We love the monitor and it is a purchace that I would make again in a moment. -- So far so good, I love it!

If you've spent the night listening to the crackle and pop of an analog baby monitor then this camera is your savior. After two weeks torture I bought this camera and although its pricey its worth double what you pay for it. Crystal clear video and audio with two wireless routes, cell phones, cordless phones and all the other goodies that annoyed my old setup. The first night we swapped to this camera was dead silent. Do yourself a favor and buy this camera. I know we will be using this for several years and the quality of both the camera and hand held are outstanding. -- YOU MUST OWN THIS WITH A NEWBORN
